Good morning World:

 I am just starting with a Blog.  I have been a breeder and fancier of Australian Shepherd dogs for 30 years.  I am also serving on the Board of Directors for the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA).  I thought a blog would be an up-to-date way to communicate with Members and fanciers in regard to ASCA.  We’ll see where this goes. 

 My Aussies are registered under the Sundew Kennel name.  I started with a bitch that I purchased from Kirk and Vicki Rand in 1976.  Her name was Peace Pipe Feather Dancer.  She was such a typical Aussie that she earned the comment from our Obedience instructor, “I used to think there were 4 breeds that were smarter than their owner.  Now I think there are 5!”  Ugh!  That doesn’t say much about my Obedience training skill, but it does say a lot about Aussies!

That is my first story of many to come.
